I finally saw Leslie, my midwife, this week.  We hadn’t seen her for three weeks.  Usually, women start weekly visits after week 35, but she’s pretty laid back, so I was supposed to start weekly visits last week.  Well, she was delivering a baby, so we didn’t see her.

This week was a rather important week: tests, birth plans, etc.  She said my  body is appropriately preparing for birth and that she wasn’t concerned that I would be overdue.  In fact, she said that I should make sure I have a bag packed!  We’re hoping for a Christmas baby, but that’s up to the baby!
