Last weekend was packed: we went to visit Gram (my paternal grandmother), a wedding, and to Philly to visit Courtney. We were exhausted, but Reese handled the whole thing really well. She’s a sweetie.
Here’s a picture of three Apgar women:

We were having fun playing peek-a-boo this evening (video forthcoming), and got some cute smiles. BTW she’s wearing an original Aunt Courtney.

Reese was dedicated this weekend at our church, Commonwealth Chapel. It was a neat thing, I’m glad we did it. Beforehand I would not have said that it would make a difference in my dedication to raising Reese, but standing up making promises about raising her, I feel even more bound. We have a video, but I’ll just post the pictures for now.

She almost missed the whole thing! Fortunately she woke up in time.

This is us with our pastor, Robbie. He’s such a nice guy and an incredible pastor. We’re both really grateful to have been a part of his church while we lived here.

Reese came with me to the Art and Music Festival at school. She was utterly charming, of course. She hung out in her stroller for a while, then she sat with one of the preschool teachers, Florence Dooley.

We also went to Louis Ginter Botanical Gardens yesterday for Brian’s birthday, and Reese was just as charming then. It was a little hot, but as long as I was holding her she was happy. She’s wearinga white dress that Brian’s Grandma Jackie sent to her (I had been saving it for her dedication today, but it was too cold today!).

This is another outfit from our friends, JP and Colette in Philly, who also got her that adorable pink dress (see April 25).

She’s been laughing lately when we tickle her or make her fly through the air. It’s so much fun.

We put Reese in the excersaucer the other day and she loved it. She loves to be in a sitting up position, so it was right up her alley.

We had a little Bradley class reunion a few weeks ago (and I’m just now posting the picture, ouch!) We had a total blast with everyone. We met up in Bryan Park, north of Richmond and had a barbeque. All the babies were perfect angels and we got to share our birth stories (a big deal for Bradley parents and lot of fun for those who have been through labor and delivery)! We were very proud of ourselves, because three out of three couples were able to have natural childbirths, which is the goal of the Bradley method. Here we all are:

Here are Reese (being held by Justin Brockbank) and Avery (being held by Sara Brockbank) getting acquainted. Avery is the oldest of the babies at five months. Aidan was the youngest at three and a half months.

I love warm weather, Reese looks so adorable in her little dresses! Unfortunately, I don’t remember who gave them to her so thanks to the people out there anyway.
