Brian, Reese, and I went to Brian’s sister’s house to watch her three boys while her husband ran the Ukrops 10K this morning. We had a lot of fun playing video games, jumping on the trampoline, and taking a walk. The boys get to spend one day a week with Reese when she spends the day with her Aunt Tracy. They love her. Caleb especially loves to take care of her - he gives her a bottle and puts her to sleep most days.

Caleb is on the left.
Reese has also started rolling over! Unfortunately, I have yet to witness the actual event, but I put her on her belly, turn around, and there she is on her back! She’s done it twice so far.
Here are some pictures of her other new physical feat:

Spring has officially sprung here in the Richmond area, and in celebration, Reese has gotten to wear two adorable dresses from AUnt Courtney. They’re adorable!

Here is Reese in a bonnet sent to her from my friend Paige, who also got to see Reese in the bonnet!

And here are the doting parents with their baby.

Reese has really started to play with her toys. She loves the little butterfly in her hand. The other day she was holding onto it and shaking it, and today she was talking to it! She talks so little, it’s hilarious to hear her get so talkative with a toy.

Since it’s been warmer we get to see more of our daughter’s parts. Her thighs are getting huge!

I think some of her cutest faces are when she is being burped.

Brian and I bought a house, so on June 9, Reese will move in to her new home! We are so excited. We close on April 11 at 10:30 am, but will move after school gets out. It is 1800 sq. ft., and brand new. We’ll be the first inhabitants. Here are some pictures!

Here’s the front, there is stone, brick, vinyl, and the pillars are wood.

As you can see, we need to bring our own refrigerator, but the oven and dish washer are nice.

We went to DC this weekend to introduce Reese to a few friends. Unfortunately, we got stuck in some terrible traffic and Reese was not so crazy about the stop and go traffic. We had a nice visit, though. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Reese got to spend some quality time with her friend Aiden last night. Some of their friends wanted to go out and party, but they decided just to chill out on the couch.

Sorry I haven’t posted for a while. I went back to work on March 5, so I’ve had a lot less time. Reese has been hanging out with Brian, her Grandma, and her aunt Tracy. She’s doing great! She hardly notices that I’m gone. In fact, I think she’s happier now that she wakes up at exactly the same time every morning. She hardly fusses at all, and goes down for bed pretty easily now, which is a nice change.

My friend Amanda sent a little University of Minnesota outfit for Reese that arrived the very night we went to the hospital. It is a 3-6 month outfit, so it looked huge when it arrived. I put it on her yesterday, and it fit really well! Here’s the little Golden Gopher! (UM mascot)
