Reese is starting sucking on anything that comes in contact with her mouth, which, more and more often, is her hand. Yay! She’s not expert, but more often than not, I’ll find her with her fingers, fist, or arm being vigorously sucked.

More smiles!

This outfit was too small to save for the Fourth of July, so she wore it on president’s day!

Sadly, the time has come for me to go back to work. Come Monday I will be dragging myself out of the house at 7am and returning at 4pm. Sad! Fortunately, I know sweet little Reese will be in good hands: her dad’s, her grandma’s, and her aunt’s to be specific. I won’t have to worry about her, but I surely will miss her.
Sorry it’s been so long since I posted. We were in North Carolina for a week and I feel like I’ve been recovering ever since! Here’s the cute little girl you’ve been waiting for.

We’re starting to get better photos of Reese smiling now that she’s doing it more often. We also get to see more of those chubby arms and legs now that it’s getting warmer!

I came out of the shower to find this. How cute is that?!

Reese was in a non-smiling mood earlier this week. This huge frown cracked us up.

I love my naked baby. She loves baths of all kinds - showers and baths with me, baths by herself (with my help, of course).

I accidentally misfiled this adorable outfit in the 3-6 month category, so she’ll be wearing this every day until she grows out of it! I pulled out her 3-6 month clothes the other day. She’s probably not big enough for the two piece outfits, but her cotton sleepers and onesies are getting tight around the middle. She’s short but very chubby!

Reese has had a cough for a week so we went to the doctor to check on her. He gave her some medicine that should take away her cough, but if it doesn’t she might have something more serious. Please pray that she gets better within the next few days. Fortunately, she’s pretty chipper and is eating as well as always. She’s probably ok, but please pray her for anyway. She’s still cute, though.

The quilt draped over the back of the chair was made my Lenora Stiles. Isn’t it gorgeous? I love putting it over me when I fed her. Someday Reese will get to use it too.

Brian, Reese, and I took a trip to our future home, Mooresville, NC, last week and got some choice pictures.

Cecelia and Joseph fell in love with her and were constantly asking me where she was and if she could play. She was a really good sport about the whole thing.

Joseph like dressing up in his new pirate outfit and locking me up in handcuffs.

Here’s a new one of Reese and Aiden.

Another picture with my favorite outfit. She’ll outgrow it soon, so I have to take advantage of the moment.

Here’s another photo in the quest to capture a smile. Still not quite there.

This was a gift from a teacher at school. When I opened it at the baby shower, everyone started singing the Rocky song. It was great! I love the bathrobe, though not so much when she pees through it.

This is Reese saying “Hit me!” We had her in her bouncy seat on the kitchen table while Brian, Grandma and I played cards.

Here we are on our way to her cousin Jonah’s ninth birthday party. I’m trying to get all the mileage I can out of the Christmas sleeper. It was still January!

I love to cuddle my girl.
