We’ve had some requests for the backwards dance, and we finally got it on video. She started doing it when she got her Easter box from my mom. We think it was actually imitating the hopping egg, and has evolved into a new dance.

We’re huge fans of the soundtrack to “Once” (Oscar-winning film for best song), and it turns out that Reese is, too. She can’t help but dance when she hears Marketa Irglova start singing “If You Want Me.”

I’ve been trying to get Reese to pat her belly when she’s hungry (or at least when I pat my belly and say “Hungry Monkey!” Today she did it. So cute!

Reese has also been spending her time perfecting her moves. How Brian and I made a child who loves to dance, I will never know!

Reese spent some time with her walking toy (”car” to her cousin Joshua), and is starting to get around some. More fun, though, is that she finally started waving! I’ve been working with her for months, and she will finally consistently wave goodbye. It melts my heart. What about yours?
